Many of my clients are sensitive, thoughtful, and running on emotional fumes.

They are the ones who seem calm on the outside but are buzzing with overwhelm inside. They’re used to keeping it together—managing, masking, caretaking—while their inner life quietly begs for breathing room.

You don’t need fixing. You need a place where you can stop pretending you’re fine.

Where your whole self can finally exhale.

Whether you're navigating a life shift, carrying around anxiety or self-doubt, or just feeling stuck in the swirl of it all—you don’t have to do it alone. I work with people moving through grief, burnout, relationship strain, identity shifts, or that familiar ache of wondering, “Is this all there is?”

The specifics matter. But what matters most is that you feel safe enough to bring them into the room.
I offer real presence, a steady pace, and a place to be fully human—with all the mess, meaning, and the quiet relief of finally being met where you are.

My Approach

My Approach

Therapy Helps You:

  • Sort through the noise in your head
  • Understand your patterns with more clarity and compassion
  • Put language to what you’ve been carrying
  • Feel your feelings—without apologizing for them
  • Make decisions with greater perspective
  • Speak freely, without judgment or interruption
  • Explore how your past still echoes in the present
  • Be challenged and supported in a way that feels steady, not overwhelming

ABOUT ME

About Me

Michelle Hannah
Registered Psychotherapist

I’ve always been drawn to what lives beneath the surface—why we feel what we feel, and how we make sense of being alive. That pull led me to study psychotherapy at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto, where I learned to listen more deeply to my emotions, trust my body’s cues, and let my sensitivity guide how I support others.

My approach is grounded, thoughtful, and spacious. I’m not here to rush your process or hand out advice. Instead, I offer a calm, attuned presence—someone who listens closely, reflects honestly, and stays with you as things unfold. Together, we’ll explore what matters most to you, with room for silence, uncertainty, and slow discovery.

Before becoming a therapist, I studied photography and communication. I bring that same attention to detail, nuance, and perspective into the therapy room.

When I’m not working, I’m likely riding my bike, shooting hoops, or hanging out with my large, lovable American Bulldog, Frankie—who’s also the unofficial emotional support staff.

What to Expect

What to Expect

Finding the right therapist is a deeply personal process—and the best way to know if we're a good fit is to sit together for a session.

Our first meeting is a space for you to show up just as you are. There’s no pressure to perform or know exactly what to say.

I’ll ask a few questions to understand what’s bringing you in, and you’re welcome to ask me anything about how I work, what to expect, or what you’re unsure about.

There’s room for hesitation, nerves, silence—all of it.

If you're ready to explore whether this space is right for you, click Start Here to book a first session.
I'm looking forward to meeting you.

FEES & FINE PRINT

Fees & Fine Print

Sessions are $175 and typically run about 50 minutes.

I offer both in-person and virtual appointments, depending on your preference.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, I ask for at least 24 hours' notice—otherwise, the full session fee will apply. This helps me offer the time to someone else who may need it.

Thanks for honouring the space we’re building together.
